May was a busy month. It began with my second time attending Wizard World Comic Con in Minneapolis in the first weekend of the month. Two weeks later, B and I displayed at our first Art-a-Whirl (and I also managed to sneak away to the MSP Comic Con for a couple of hours, Saturday morning). Then, not quite a week later, I read a brand new short story at Lift Garage in Minneapolis as part of this years Cracked Walnut Reading Festival. Unfortunately, the video didn’t turn out from the Cracked Walnut reading (but fortunately, B was able to film it at our staff Cabaret).
In addition to participating in these wonderful events, B & I also went to my good friend C’s baby shower during the crazy Art-a-Whirl weekend and then last weekend we did a quick trip to Verona, Wisconsin to attend the wedding of one of her cousins. This weekend, I’m looking forward to a little chill time and to seeing Jurassic World with B and my little brother.
