closing in

I hit 90,000 words tonight. I’m almost to the end of Act 2. Almost as in I’m halfway through Chapter 36, which is the last chapter in Act 2. It feels good, where the story is going. I’m still discovering things, which is great. Of course, the whole thing will need a top down rewrite, but for now, it feels good.

I started to make a website a few days ago. It’s basic, but so far I like it. I’ve looked at a lot of writer websites (a lot of websites, if I’m going to be honest, but specifically writer websites when I was thinking about what I wanted mine to look like) and it looks better than a lot of them. A lot of them either use too much flash or looked like they were last updated in 1997. I’m using Weebly to play around with it, which is nice; it is a drag and drop set up where you drag the components into the page your creating. If you want a photo, you drag the photo component to the part of the page that you want it. If you want a paragraph in there, you drag the paragraph component into the part of the page that you want it and then type what you want in there. Rinse repeat.

More later …
